Skills & Experience
General Manager Duties:
· Develop, train, and enforce company sales procedures to attain and exceed goals.
· Manage and support Sales and F&I department and managers, including working the floor with the sales staff.
· Prepare and execute daily/weekly/monthly and annual dealership goals by projecting unit sales, gross profits, and F&I incomes.
· Conduct daily and weekly meetings to measure our performance against monthly projections, enabling the team to address opportunities as they occur.
· Direct and participate in the efforts of the sales team to enhance our image and improve customer satisfaction (including personally addressing customer concerns).
· Establish standards for displaying, merchandising, and maintaining new and used vehicles.
· Execute inventory management and promote quick disposal of overage vehicles according to company standards.
· Study local market conditions, demographics, and past sales history to make ad plans and goals.
· Maintain ongoing sales training.
· Set and execute advertising and budgets.
· Develop and oversee expenses and compensation plans.
· Closely monitor cash flow.
· Support of Fixed Operations as needed and working with used car management and wholesale to ensure we
are within NADA guidelines.
Corporate Finance Director duties:
· Oversee day-to-day operations of the finance department in our Chevrolet, Mazda, and Honda points.
· Goal setting, forecasting, daily transaction, and log control.
· Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports (including end of month and compensation/bonus pay).
· Hold monthly manager meetings to review departmental and individual performance.
· Work with product partners and bank partners to ensure we are maximizing our potential in all locations.
· Hire and train as needed.
· Admin for our DMS.
· Support admin as needed with accounting issues that may arise.
· Oversee the compliance and troubleshooting for CVR/EVR.
Corporate Compliance Manager duties:
· Ensure all FTC rules are followed and have processes in place – and monthly audits to ensure this process is being followed.
· Keep audits for all locations.
· Inspect new and used vehicles to ensure proper marking and disclosures.
· Keep records of infractions, train the management and staff as needed.
· Work closely with Comply Auto and our partners to ensure our computers and e-mails are secure.
· Complete random walk-around in all departments and locations to be sure customer information is not in an open area (and training of employees to follow these policies and procedures).
General Sales Manager & Sales Manager Duties:
· Develop, train, and enforce company sales processes and procedures.
· Manage and support Sales and F&I department and managers, including working the floor with the sales staff.
· Work with sales staff on daily task lists and customer follow up.
· Work with the sales staff on the floor, T.O. and help put prospective sales together.
· Work the sales desk, working prospective deals.
· Hold a daily “Save-A-Deal” meeting with sales staff, assist as needed.
· Hold weekly sales training, involving the sales staff.
· Work with the Used Car Manager on trades, Wholesale manage the UCD.
· Work with F&I closely on a daily basis, Delivery’s, and pending customers, assist when needed.
· Hold weekly Managers meetings to discuss up and coming events.
· Set monthly sales goals as a group and individually.
· Work closely with BDC, manage leads, (Shows to Sold).
· Work with General Manager on advertising ideas.
· Recruiting from the marketplace & growing talent from within.
· Assist General Manager as needed.
· Practice what I preach (Sell Cars, Close Deals, T.O. Customers, Take F&I turns).
